Dearest Former Century Singers ,

The Association of Former Century Singers ( AFCS ) is revived and active! My name is Will Hailey, and I’m the AFCS Vice President through Spring 2012. I want to invite each of you to the AFCS Reunion:

  • WHERE: The New Choral Activities Office (Vocal Music Office) // In the basement of the Commons Southside Residence Area at Texas A&M
  • WHEN: Saturday, November 13, 2010 // Noon-ish to 5pm
  • WHAT: Catered BBQ // a walking tour of the new offices // the Aggie road football game on in the background // a Special Surprise
  • WHY: To bring old friends together // meet new ones // talk about what AFCS has done in the past year // and talk about what we want to do next year

AFCS has already begun reuniting former members and giving back to the Century Singers—last year we financially sponsored several yearly Century Singers awards, helped house the choir’s members on their Spring tour, and had a Houston outing for our members. We have bigger plans for next year and want you to be a part of them too.

Please RSVP to me by email, phone, or Facebook so we can get a BBQ headcount. If you can’t make it or live too far away, that’s OK! AFCS is about to provide even more ways for you to be involved from afar. First, go to www.centurysingers.com for updates about what’s going on. Our first city gathering will be in Houston – at Cedar Creek Cafe at 1 PM on August 14.

Come as you are, it will be very casual – we will have some short announcements and… save the date for upcoming events. Come mix and mingle with old and new Century Singer friends!
